Most builders quote first and design later. We think that is backwards. Here is what happens instead, in order.
Book the consultThe five-step process
Consult
A site visit or a call. We talk through the block, the brief and the budget, and whether we are the right builder for the job. No sales pitch; if we are not the right fit, we will say so.
Design
Before we quote, we design. Concept drawings developed with you, or with your architect, until the plan is right. This is a paid stage: $3,000, which covers the site measure, concept drawings and the work that makes the fixed price possible.
Plan
A detailed, itemised fixed-price proposal built from the drawings. Selections, allowances and exclusions written down, not implied. Approvals, engineering and a construction schedule are locked in here.
Build
Our team on site with one point of contact. Regular walk-throughs, written updates and a schedule you can see. Variations only happen in writing and only with your approval.
Handover
Final inspection together, certificates in hand, keys in yours. We stay on through the defects period, so the relationship does not end at handover.
Why the design stage is paid
A quote is only as good as the drawing behind it
A free quote is priced off assumptions, and the assumptions become variations once you are on site. Paying for the concept stage means the drawings are done properly, the price is built from them, and what you sign is what gets built.
If you decide not to proceed, the drawings are yours to keep.
